METAL WORKING FLUIDS

  SOLUBLE OILS

Solmaster

The Solmaster products represent an extremely sophisticated range of water emulsifiable metal working fluids.

The comprehensive range meets the needs of a diverse set of applications from general machining of cast iron and low tensile steels, through to severe cutting operations on high tensile steels and alloys. Specific grades have also been formulated for machining softer alloys such as copper and aluminium.

The Solmaster range offers a number of benefits to the user including enhanced coolant life, improved tool life and superior surface finish.

By careful selection of the most appropriate Solmaster grade a complete matrix of metal types and machining operations can be catered for.

Opal

Opal grades are conventional 'soluble oils' produced in numerous formulations including 'milky' type emulsions for general machining and full translucent and E.P. grades for more severe operations.

They are particularly recommended where a low unit cost of the fluid is a prime consideration.

Ceto

Ceto is the brand name for a comprehensive range of fully synthetic water soluble grinding fluids.

The range incorporates low cost fluids for general grinding of ferrous metals, specialist grades which provide low cobalt leaching characteristics and highly sophisticated grades developed to give high production rates on high tensile materials.

  NEAT CUTTING OILS

Clearcut

Clearcut grades are exceptionally versatile and provide a comprehensive range of neat cutting and forming oils with more than 35 individual formulations in the range. They combine variations in viscosity, additive chemistry and additive treatment levels.

Individual products have been specifically developed to meet the many and varied metal cutting operation needs of the production engineering industry, from general machining through to the most severe cutting operations on hard alloys.

Significant quality, production efficiency and cost benefits can be achieved through careful selection of the most appropriate Clearcut grade for the specified machining operation.
